I’m finally giving up on Internet Explorer. I know what your thinking…. “Why did you wait so long?” I don’t have a good answer for you, but I’ve finally had it. I had high hopes for version 7.0 and they didn’t come true.

I had two midterms on Saturday Accounting and Economics. WOW!! I would have to say they may have been the toughest tests I have taken. I’m not sure how I did on the Accounting test, but I’ve talked to some of the other students and I think I did pretty well. In Economics, we went over the test in class. It was a 50 point multiple choice. I have NEVER failed a test before. I failed this one, luckily, the instructor going to curve it. WHEW!!! So, I’m hoping I end up with a “C”. The midterm is a third of my total grade.

If I get a “C” in Economics it will be my first “C” in my post high school education. I think my lowest grade is a “B-” in Art History. It was a tough class. I’m not very good remembering dates, names and stuff.

I studied tonight with my study group. I have to say, I have an awesome study group!!! We all get along really well. We have fun, but we also get things done. I’m VERY lucky to have such a great group.

I went to the dentist today and now I have new teeth. Well they aren’t new teeth but they look different. I had my gap filled between my two front teeth. I’m not use to it yet. It feels really strange.

A few years ago I wrote a PHP program to help the Workplace Learning Connection organize all the information they have. It keeps track of job shadows, Internships and events (ie: speakers & tours). A few months ago they sold it to Brainerd Minnesota. This week I’m setting it up on their server for them. Then next week I get to drive up to Brainerd to help train them how to use it. I’m actually pretty excited. I really hope they like the program. I might get some consulting work from them if they want to make any changes to it. I could use the extra cash, especially, if I don’t find a roommate.

It is absolutely beautiful here. I feeling very pampered. I’m sitting in my hotel room with a beautiful ocean view. We ordered room service this morning and we have the fireplace on. The wind from the beach is a little chilly but I don’t want to close the door because I love the ocean sounds.

I woke up early again and went running on the beach. I was thinking a lot about my mom. She always wanted to see the ocean. Now she sees it from heaven. I can feel her here with me. I’m going to start a new tradition. Every time I’m on the beach I’m going to write “mom” in the sand. I think she would like it.
